Marcos Avila Forero is a Colombian artist born in Paris in 1983. Invited in residence in 2016 by the Grand Café, a contemporary art centre, he presents two works in the exhibition The Asymetry of cards. His work is immersed in the complex and sometimes violent reality of identified political and social situations, in which he is personally and artistically involved. His works thus combine experiences and history of these contexts.
